This Week: Peter closes his letter with a gentle admonition to church leaders. The lowest leverage of leadership is one’s title. Too often, ministry leaders “lord” over their ministry out of selfishness, pride, or arrogance. Instead, godly leadership humbly and lovingly serves the flock for God’s glory, not their own.

This Week: Believers, especially today, need to stop worrying about the wicked and start looking at their own behavior and motives behind the behavior and live in a way that is pleasing to the Lord. Suffering for righteousness is better than suffering for stupidity. It’s time for the “Church” to take a healthy check in the mirror!
