• This Series: Authentic Christianity is a faith that is mirrored in action and actions that are mirrored in Christ. The book of James is one of the most practical books in the Bible that is so relevant today. It challenges our faith to be lived out in our actions!

 

• This Week: The context of this passage is all about submitting to God and His will; not our own. Doing what God wants us to do in all areas of our life makes all the difference as followers of Christ. The last 2 verses aptly apply to believers on the Sunday prior to electing the next President of the United States. For too long, there has been too much damage when believers have little to no self-control in their political opinions – all to the detriment of the gospel. Applying this passage could begin healing our nation.
