• This Week: It is all too easy for human beings to get angry at a holy, all-powerful, sovereign God. We somehow feel justified when we are angry at God when something doesn’t go our way. God doesn’t have to justify His compassion on those who we despise or even hate.

• This Week: God has called His followers to serve the Lord. People often associate the call of God to only pastors and missionaries. Not true. Who will be God’s representative at your job, school, and neighborhood? Who will serve in areas in our church that need someone to serve? Most people think, “Somebody will. Anybody can.” But the truth is, nobody often does. What is God calling you to do to advance His kingdom?

• This Week: You would think that coming to God would be a decision God would appreciate. Think again. Sometimes running to God and asking him for something we know is outside the will of God will be a short conversation with the Lord.

• This Week: The first recorded question in scripture was asked by God. It was a question He already knew the answer to. God knows where each of us are. There is no place we can go to escape His presence and His ever watchful (and caring) eyes.

• This Series: All human time is centered on the birth of Christ. BC means “before Christ.” AD means “the year of our Lord” – a reference to Jesus. This Christmas season we will look at prophecies in the BC that were fulfilled at the coming of Christ in the AD.
• This Week: Whoever you are and whatever you do, it comes with a title. Titles indicates our task. The BC gives the coming Messiah numerous titles for numerous tasks he would fulfill in the AD. As a result, His titles set up our testimony.
Key Phrase: “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us.” John 1:14

• This Series: All human time is centered on the birth of Christ. BC means “before Christ.” AD means “the year of our Lord” – a reference to Jesus. This Christmas season we will look at prophecies in the BC that were fulfilled at the coming of Christ in the AD.
• This Week: BC prophecies proclaim the coming Messiah would be rejected. These prophesies would be fulfilled in the AD. Jews today reject Jesus as their Messiah because they refuse to believe their Messiah would suffer and die on a despised cross. One day their blinded eyes will be open, and they will see Jesus as he really is.
Key Phrase: “He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him.” John 1:11
