• This Week: Waiting for God’s promises to come can tempt us to “help” God out by taking control. However, faith requires us to surrender control and expectations and patiently wait for the fulfillment of God to come to past.

• This Week: God’s plan of redemption starts with one man, then with one family, who later becomes one nation. God pursues Abraham and calls him to trust and follow Him. God initiates this relationship, and the redemption clock begins to tick.

• This Week: Sin inside the human heart is a deadly combination. After a short while on planet earth, humans had become so wicked that every inclination of their heart was for doing evil. Things were so out of control, God had to restore order by bringing judgment to earth.
