• This Week: It is so easy for us to focus on the pain in our lives, relationships, and finances and we end up taking our eyes off of Christ. When this happens, we will live on a Merry-Go-Round of WHY's which will produce the absence of hope. The apostle Paul helps us take our eyes off of our suffering and to focus on the future glory God has for us. Often, our sufferings are part of God's divine purpose in our lives.

• This Week: In God’s kindness, He has made a way for our sin to be paid for. This was accomplished by Jesus atoning for our sins on the cross. We are justified in God’s sight by faith, not by any works. Jesus paid a debt he did not owe because we owed a debt we could not pay. This is amazing grace!
Key Phrase: “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ.” Romans 3:23-24

• This Week: Every human heart knows that wrongs need to be rightly judged and dealt. God’s righteousness demands for Him to do what is just and right, without partiality. However, the holiness of God includes His divine kindness which is given to mankind for them to be drawn towards repentance.
Key Phrase: “Do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness… not realizing God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?” Romans 2:4
